As temps go down, the number of people with the flu goes up. It’s flu season, and you probably work with, live with or know someone who is currently sick with this common bug. Thankfully, there are simple steps you can take to help prevent the spread of flu to yourself or those around you!

First and foremost – wash hands regularly using soap and warm water. If water and soap are not available, use a hand sanitizer to kill germs. Use a tissue or your hand to cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough to avoid spreading germs, and if you are sick stay home so the illness does not spread.

With a little understanding of how the germs spread and basic sanitation practices, we can all stay healthy during flu season!
