Vincent Michael Tutiakoff, Sr.

Vincent M. Tutiakoff Sr. has served as a Director of OC from 1973 to 1980, 1987 to 1989 and 2010 to present.  Vincent was re-elected this year, his current as term as Chair will expire in 2016.

Vincent served as the Corporations Land Director from 1974 to 1980 and as President from 1979 to 1983.  Vincent has served as the Chair of the Board from 1977 to 1979 and 2012 to present.  Vincent is a member of the Corporations Executive Committee, Personnel Committee and Real Estate Investment Committee and as Chair of the Board of Directors is an ex-officio (nonvoting) member of the Corporations Audit Committee, Budget Committee, Investment Committee and Shareholder Planning Committee.  In 2012 Vincent attended seminars and classes conducted by Harvey Meier regarding Board duties and responsibilities for Alaska Native corporations to better serve shareholders.

Vincent has since 2011 been employed by the Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska as its Roads/Project Manager.  Vincent also owns LV Tech, a construction and IT small business which he started in 2002.  Vincent worked in Adak from 1997 to 2010, during which he was the manager/owner of the Aleutian Sports Bar & Grill from 2005 to 2009.

Vincent says, “As a Director for these past 3 years, I have strived to keep the interests of all shareholders at heart when making decisions.  Many new and exciting projects have come about.  Many reorganizational issues have happened and some new policies have been instituted and some old ones have been revamped or modified to fit our new direction.  As your Chair of the Board of Directors, I am continuing to work with management and the Board to bring future success and dividends to all our shareholders”.
