Shayla R. Shaishnikof, Director
Shayla is our newest Director. She is currently the Resilience Coordinator for the Qawalangin Tribe and has worked for the Tribe since 2016. She has also served as the Lead Intern and Camp Director for Camp Qungaayux on behalf of the Qawalangin Tribe. Shayla is the current Board Chair for the Museum of the Aleutians and previously served as Vice Chair from 2020-2021 Shayla studied at Western Washington University, attended many Foraker Group Board trainings, completed courses in Grant writing, as well as a course on the Introduction to GIS.
