Dennis has devoted his career to serving the Unalaska community through public, tribal, and corporate leadership. He has served 24 years on the Ounalashka Corporation Board of Directors, 18 years on the Unalaska City Council, and held leadership roles with the Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska, where he helped lead the effort that resulted in federal recognition.
Now serving as Community Development Manager for the Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska, Dennis continues to support economic development, renewable energy initiatives, and community growth. His leadership reflects a lifelong commitment to collaboration, service, and strengthening the region.
