Marii was elected to the Board of Directors in 2024 and has been serving as the President of Atxam Corporation since 2022, where she has been employed since 2017. Her leadership experience includes serving as a Board Member for the Aleutian Region School District from 2018 to 2022, as a Council Member for the Native Village of Atka from 2019 to 2022, and currently as a member of the Board of Directors for the Aleut Corporation.
She earned her Bachelor of Human Services from University of Alaska Anchorage and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern. Marii splits her time between Anchorage and Atka with her four children: Makarius, Sosi, Makani, and Roman.
Her term expires in 2027.
