run from offices in Unalaska and Anchorage.
Ounalashka has grown substantially over the last 50 years because of the preparedness and intelligent decision-making of our leaders – it is now far more valuable and profitable than the Ounalashka that was first conceived. And yet, the corporation is set to experience sustained growth over the next 50 years because of the strong foundations established by OC’s first generations of decision-makers and because of the plans being made by our current decision-makers. OCCP
OCCP is a joint venture between Chena Power, LLC and the Ounalashka Corporation (OC). OCCP is harvesting geothermal energy from the Makushin Volcano, which rests on lands owned by OC, to create a clean and renewable power source for Unalaska. Over the next 30 years, the City of Unalaska will do away with 13 million gallons of diesel fuel, 2,939 tons of NOx, 95 tons of PM10, and 170,000 tons of CO2.
OC Environmental Services
OCE was formed to complete remediation and restoration projects for the Department of Defense at contaminated sites on the islands of Unalaska, Amaknak, Sedanka, and Hog Island. There are many FUDS properties on OC’s lands.
